Ginostra is a peaceful tiny village on the opposite side of Stromboli to the main settlement, on the south-western shore, and can only be reached by boat.  The hamlet was only connected for electricity in 2004.

It is a little sun-drenched paradise, truly a place where you can unwind and merge with nature and self. Here, modern distraction becomes a distant memory. The village s composed of white typical houses and some quite and nice inhabitant, and two donkeys, Rocco and Rocky. This is truly a magical place to practice the art and joy of yoga.
